Visual identity, printed literature, and exhibition design for an architectural awards program. The system represents the relationship between two primary categories while plus signs of varying sizes form the graphic language. This can be read as an indication of achievement, or as an award-winner's contribution to a long list of past recipients, and also implies precision and quality. When used en masse as a tectonic device, building, volume, and layering are suggested. The plus signs also act as a framing element, allowing content to be positioned within a flexible matrix, creating a continuously evolving program identity. This project was developed in collaboration with Corey Yurkovich.
